At the age of 6, Emma started playing rugby for South Molton RFC until the age of U13s where she was forced to find a girls only club. Emma moved to Crediton RFC, where she played until U18s. During this time Emma represented Devon U15s and U18s. Whilst at Hartpury College studying a BTEC in Animal Science, Emma was part of the AASE academy and was selected to play for England TDG vs Wales U19s at the Principality Stadium.
In February 2018, Emma was selected to play 7s in Las Vegas for an invitational team Atlantis where she helped them win the tournament alongside friend Jessica Cooksey. Emma has represented England U18s in the Home Nations tournament in July 2018.
Emma was part of the England U20s squad for the 2018/19 season and made her debut in Strasbourg against France on the 9th March 2019. In May she was part of a Hartpury College 7s team which went to Japan for the World Sanix Youth Tournament. She is also part of the England U20s squad for the 2019/20 season but no matches were played due to covid.
Emma has played for Gloucester-Hartpury since the 2018/19 season. She earned her first senior cap against Scotland in the 2022 Six Nations, and scored a try against Italy a week later. She was named in Simon Middleton’s squad for the 2023 TikTok Women’s Six Nations Championship.
Emma has grown up on a farm in North Devon and is currently at Hartpury University studying a degree in Bio veterinary Science with an aspiration of becoming a Vet.
