Backrow Maisy Allen arrived in Exeter, having joined from Gloucester-Hartpury in the summer of 2021. She made her debut as an early replacement in the victory against Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop, impressing with her work around the breakdown.
Whilst in Exeter, she is studying for a degree in Sports and Exercise Science. Allen started playing rugby a decade ago for Wimborne RFC. At 16, she moved to Hartpury College to further her rugby career, before making her Premier15s debut for Gloucester-Hartpury last season against Sale Sharks.
Allen is also a current England U20 international, captaining the side against Scotland Futures, and enjoys spending time outdoors when she isn’t on the rugby field. Her performances in the Allianz Cup this season saw Allen emerge as a prominent breakdown threat for Susie Appleby’s side.
