The Women’s Premiership are pleased to announce the launch of our new site in partnership with RuckinRugby.com.
The Women’s Premiership is the top level of club rugby in the country, featuring 8 clubs and featuring England players Katie McLean, Maggie Alphonsi, Sarah Hunter and Emily Scarratt and most of the 2014 Women’s Rugby World Cup winners. A highly competitive league, the Women’s Premiership is widely regarded as the top club competition in the world and attracts players from around the world including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, USA, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, France and Italy amongst others.
This new site will feature fixtures, results and news from the top 8 clubs in England as well as insights from players in the women’s game. Not only is the aim to provide updates on the top level of rugby, the aim is to promote the game at all levels and provide information on how to get involved in rugby for all women and girls.
The Women’s Premiership kicks off on the weekend of 13th/14th September with Richmond, last year’s champions, facing Bristol, runners up Saracens travelling to Wasps, Worcester hosting Lichfield and DMP Sharks travelling to Aylesford. More details will follow.
